every other year in lieu of the science fair TLC holds a reading carnival fair where all of the childern are given free time that day to read to themselves or others
Every other year tlc holds a school wide science fair where students are expected to pick a project and participate. Judges are then picked from outside the school to judge all the projects for class and school wide winners.
